Howard tells it like it is, just as JDL does. If you don't like it, you can kiss his tochis. And, despite his tongue-in-cheek claims to the contrary, he's absolutely, 100% *all* Jewish. And he agrees with JDL's position on almost everything, including Marlon Brando! Howard really is the King of All Media, having conquered the fields of Radio, Motion Pictures, Videos, Books and TV.
Alicia Silverstone Alicia definitely gets our nod for Jewish Babe of the Decade. Finally Jewish boys can dream of a nice Jewish girl instead of a shiksa. Not only is she a fantastic actress, she is becoming a wise filmmaker herself. If you want to get to know her better -- and what red-blooded guy wouldn't? -- just surf the Web for the many sites dedicated to her.
Maybe Scott hasn't been selected for Major League Baseball's All-Star team yet, but we cast our ballot for him. The thirty-year-old Dodger should be considered a role model to every youngster. One of the best relief pitchers of all-time, Scott came down with Hodgkin's Disease in 1994. Not letting the cancer treatments get him down, he worked at his alma mater, Simi Valley High School, as a baseball coach until he successfully fought the disease. In the off-season, lead singer and drummer Scott tours with the alternative rock band Pulley. For more information about this winner, visit the L.A. Dodgers website.
Giselle Fernandez
One of the most popular journalists on T.V. today, Giselle is one hot "kosher burrito" (her words, not ours). Although she shines as a host of NBC's hit gossip videozine "Access Hollywood," Giselle has more than put in her time as a legitimate news reporter, having covered such global events as the World Trade Center and Oklahoma City bombings, the wars in Bosnia, Somalia, and Operation Desert Storm. (She also has a website to promote interest in broadcast journalism.) And she was the very first reporter in 20 years to interview Cuban dictator Fidel Castro in English. Giselle's newest claim to fame is host of Cafe Olé, her own English-language show on Galavision Cable. Anyone would agree, though, in any language, Giselle has great Jewish image! Jakob Dylan Youngest of the five children of Bob and Sara Dylan, Jakob is the lead singer for the Wallflowers, the hottest band in rock music today. Before they struck it big, The Wallflowers used to play the Kibitz Room at L.A.'s famed Canters Delicatessen. Jakob's famous (and sometimes flaky) father didn't help his son's career; indeed his famous name worked against him with record companies. Jakob is married and the father of three-year old son, Levi. If you want to learn more about Jakob and the Wallflowers, visit One Headlight on the web.
Lisa Kudrow
Her portrayal of spacy but sweet Phoebe Buffay on NBC's immensely popular sitcom Friends belies the true character of Lisa Kudrow. This nice Jewish girl (a doctor's daughter, no less) from the San Fernando Valley earned her B.S. degree in biology from Vassar. Lucky for audiences around the world, Lisa thought twice about entering the medical research field and found her true calling in acting. Besides the recurring role of harebrained waitress Ursula in NBC's Mad About You, Lisa hit the big screen last year as Albert Brooks' girlfriend in Mother and as one of the title characters in Romy and Michele's High School Reunion. Sorry, guys, the 34-year-old Lisa is taken; she's married to French businessman Michel Stern and they have a baby boy.

The city of Charleston, South Carolina, is lucky to have one of the most respected police chiefs in the country. The chief has been featured on various news shows because of his dedication to crime fighting and peace keeping. We suggest a visit to the official website of the Charleston P.D.
Dr. Laura Schlessinger
Dr. Laura, as she is known to her radio listeners, is witty and intelligent, and definitely one of the best psychotherapists in the country. Dr. Laura is *not* a proponent of "if it feels good, do it" psychology. Morality is very important to her. Born to a Jewish father and his Gentile wife, Dr. Laura went through a publicized halahkic conversion. If you want to know more about Dr. Laura, check out her website.
Adam Sandler Born and reared in New Hampshire, Adam is the best known Generation X comedian. After getting his bachelor's degree in fine arts at NYU, he was discovered working in an L.A. comedy club by Dennis Miller; a four-year stint on Saturday Night Live was the result. Since 1991, Adam's had a couple of very successful comedy CDs and appeared in several movies, most notably Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore and the Wedding Singer. Adam's handsome and funny; he's adored by millions of fans; he's very proud to be Jewish. And don't you just love his song about Hanukkah -- even though it's not quite accurate as far as who is a Jew?
Natalie Portman
Remember when we stated here that Natalie Portman would be a big star? Our prediction is certainly coming true. She's the female lead in the new blockbuster, Star Wars I: The Phantom Menace. Her breakthrough role in The Professional shot her to prominence, and she soon landed important parts in Beautiful Girls, Heat and Mars Attacks! She received raves for her performance as Anne Frank on Broadway. Born in Jerusalem, she moved to the U.S. when she was three with her artist mother and M.D. father. Watch out, people, this nice Jewish girl is going to be an even bigger star!
Harris Barton
Harris Barton, right tackle for the San Francisco 49ers, is considered one of the best offensive linemen in professional football. He has been a two-time All-Pro choice in the NFL. The 49er organization calls Harris, "a rugged performer who is also one of the team's inspirational leaders, having earned the respect of both his teammates and peers around the league." And Harris is a mensch off the field as well. In February 1996, he gave his alma mater, the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, $100,000 for the School of Social Work to support its programs for families.A conference room in the school's new building is named in honor of Harris' late father, Paul C. Barton, who died of brain cancer in 1994 at age 57. In making the contribution, the largest in the school's history by a professional athlete, Harris called his dad "the best kind of guy there is." In the off-season, Harris, who's in his early 30s and single, is a volunteer speaker at Bay Area colleges and Jewish groups. Whatta guy.
