The Holocaust was without question not only the nadir of Jewish history, but also the most uniquely horrific event in the annals of broader human history. While there is no dispute that other nations have suffered their own tragedies, the horror of the Holocaust is unrivaled. 

The Jewish Defense League prefers to focus on the positive effects we can have on the world today as well as the historical accomplishments of Am Yisrael, rather than the horrors of the past. Yet, we must also learn from the past, and there are vital lessons to heed from the Holocaust.
