True story—

I showed up at the annual Walk For Israel today as I do every year.  And every year, I am armed with JDL brochures, my JDL kipot and, of course, wearing my JDL t-shirt.

Imagine my shock, amazement and total displeasure when I was told by a Federation official that I could not participate in the walk unless I worse an official walk T-shirt or something else.

What the hell?

I asked him why.

1.  They want a display of solidarity for Israel—I told the guy that my shirt’s message was about solidarity and the need for continued solidarity.

2.  He said the shirt needed a positive message.  Oh, I see “never again” is not a positive message.

He tried to continue, but my boiling point was rising and he thought it best not to engage me.

Bottom line—I marched the entire 3 miles and handed out brochures.

Never Again means just that—Never Again—For all Jews, all the time.
