Drawing sharp criticism for its half-hearted condemnation of terrorism, the Islamist lobby in the United States has recently shifted its focus toward the disavowal of terrorist movements, denying culpability for acts of Moslem terror. Spearheading this effort, the Council on American Islamic Relations CAIR is attempting to moderate its image. The organization has heavily promoted a petition entitled "Not in the name of Islam," which, in part, states, "no injustice done to Muslims can ever justify the massacre of innocent people." Of course, the question must be posed, what is the Islamic definition of innocent? Since the Koran, Islam's holy book, repeatedly makes the claim that Jews and Christians are damned to hell-fire, isn't it likely that CAIR's concern for innocents is actually much less inclusive than it appears to be?
Aside from recent, ostensibly tolerant declarations, the undeniable truth is that CAIR remains a normative Islamic organization that adheres to Islamic dogma. CAIR necessarily espouses Islamo-supremacy and Jew-hatred. Most do not realize that CAIR's Islamo-supremacist and triumphalist rhetoric holds disturbing implications for the entire world. View the facts about CAIR's agenda, and find out the truth about this deceptive hate group:

CAIR wants Islam to take over the United States and the rest of the world. As reported by the San Ramon Valley Herald, CAIR Chairman Omar M. Ahmad told a crowd of California Muslims in July 1998, "Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Koran . . . should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on earth."
The head of CAIR's Los Angeles office, Hussam Ayloush, routinely uses the term "zionazi" when referring to Israelis.
CAIR co-hosted an event in May 1998 at which an Egyptian militant Islamic leader, Wagdi Ghunaym, called Jews the "descendants of the apes."
CAIR defends cop-killers. CAIR responded to the arrest and conviction of Jamil Al-Amin (the former H. Rap Brown) by praising him, raising funds for him and then denying his guilt
after his conviction for the murder of an Atlanta policeman. Likewise with Ahmad Adnan Chaudhry of San Bernardino, Calif.: Disregarding his conviction for attempting murder, CAIR declared him "innocent" and set up a defense fund for him.
CAIR also backs those who finance terrorism. When President Bush closed the Holy Land Foundation for collecting money he said was "used to support the Hamas terror organization," CAIR decried his action as "unjust" and "disturbing." The FBI's former chief of counterterrorism, Steven Pomerantz, concludes that "CAIR, its leaders and its activities effectively give aid to international terrorist groups."
Some other choice quotes from CAIR officials:
Omar M. Ahmad (CAIR chairman) says suicide
bombers "kill themselves for Islam" and so are not terrorists.
Nihad Awad (CAIR executive director) proclaims his "support" for Hamas, the Palestinian terrorist group.
Ibrahim Hooper (CAIR spokesman) declares, "I wouldn't want to create the impression that I wouldn't like the government of the United States to be Islamic sometime in the future."

Every Jew and every friend of the United States, Israel and the Jewish people should care about CAIR and join/support the Jewish Defense League.
