(From site archives) Fast Food Chain Bows to Arab Boycott: Now We Must Depose the "King"
We recently reported that Burger King was the subject of an Arab boycott because of its placement of a kosher restaurant in a Jewish settlement on the West Bank. We are sad to report that Burger King did indeed cave in to Arab bully-boy pressures. Well, we believe in the expression "turnabout is fair play." Israeli and American citizens have an opportunity to hit Burger King where it hurts most -- in their pockebook! This statement is true, to the tune of 46 Burger King operations within Israel, and the countless numbers operating within the U.S. For the burger giant (or should we say midget?) to snub its nose at Jews and cancel an operation of theirs on Israeli land is just plain bad business.
Do you notice anything peculiar regarding the number of Burger King outlets? They have 130 outlets in Middle East; Israeli business comprises 35.3% of their total business, and the next highest is the hostile Saudi's with their 30.7%. If Israelis and Americans were to tell the Burger King to go and stick their fries where not even a potato will grow, all the Burger King pandering to the Arabs and their blackmail tactics will NOT make up the difference for the loss of Israeli AND U.S. business. That's where/what/when Burger King attention will all of a sudden be awakened -- in their corporate bottom line. How dare Burger King close their kosher restaurant in Israeli territory. We're not going to patronize their restaurants until they reverse this position. We're going to call every Burger King and let the manager know why they won't see us buying Cokes at their drive-through anymore. And we're going to tell our non-kosher friends to buy their burgers and fries somewhere else. How about you?
