one of the demonstrators at the U.N. event on Friday, May 16th:
On Friday, May 16, 2008, the newly-formed 9.11.1683 Coalition sponsored its first demonstration opposite Dag Hammarskjold Plaza, in New York City. The event was displaced to the North-West corner of 47th Street and Second Avenue because the New York City Department of Parks, with or without the knowledge and instruction of their Director of Facilities Management, Mohammad Shoaib, reserved the Plaza for the exclusive use of several groups demonstrating against Israel and the so-called "nakbah." It is interesting to note that at least one of the groups in the park uses the slogan of the terrorist group, Hamas. This same group, al-Awda, has a convention scheduled to take place in Los Angeles on May 16th to 18th. There it is to host Sheikh Tayseer Al-Tamimi, a known Hamas operative who has been arrested by the Israel Defense Forces and who praises suicide bombings and calls for jihad.

Soviet Union was torn apart." These are the people given the exclusive right to use the city's Dag Hammarskjold Plaza by the NYC Parks Dept. while barring pro-American citizens. On behalf of the 9.11.1683 Coalition, I would like to express our gratitude to the NYPD 17th Precinct Community Affairs Department whose officers showed the highest level of professionalism and cooperation in permitting us to exercise our rights to free assembly and free speech. And I extend my compliments to those officers who stood for hours in the rain to ensure that our peaceful demonstration was not interrupted. They are truly examples of New York's Finest! Starting in 1949 those Arabs who now propose to be called "palestinians" have been proclaiming that the rebirth of Israel within its own ancient biblical homeland was "an-nakbah," the catastrophe. That's what the muslim groups were demonstrating against in the Plaza, which opens at its opposite end to face the United Nations. The tactic among supporters of the nation of Israel has, until now, generally been to ignore them and their pro-Hamas, pro-Hizbullah rants. But every year they grow bolder and more strident. We remember from history that Josef Goebbels taught us that if you tell a lie often enough, people will believe it. Edmund Burke, on the other hand, in Thoughts on the Cause of Present Discontents has taught us that, "The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing." This year I organized a small coalition of Americans who are opposed to Islamic terrorism, opposed to jihad, opposed to the creeping imposition of shari'a, and opposed to Islam's renewed attempt to conquer the West so that they may follow their commandments to replace our Judeo-Christian civilization with the tribal customs of a 7th century moon-god. The coalition, unfortunately, was small because more than 90% of those we contacted neglected to take any action. For the first time, a group of Americans came out to peacefully confront this year's nakbah program of da'wa, Islamic propaganda. The confrontation was not one of rifles or fists, but of factual history and justice. A catastrophe did occur 60 years ago when the muslim squatters occupying Israel's ancient heritage refused to accept the Arab state that was offered to them by the United Nations and by the new Jewish nation. Instead they vacated their (relatively recently acquired) homes so as to "clear the battlefield for the oncoming slaughter of the Jews" - as promised by their Arab leaders.  When Israel surprised the world by surviving, the muslims who had been misled by their leaders were placed in temporary towns, called by the UN "refugee camps." Their Arab and muslim brethren refused to permit them to integrate into their societies, preferring to keep them as "refugees," as a tool to eventually destroy the "evil Zionists." Today, their descendants claim that they have a "right" to return to a land which was never theirs, to which they had migrated only a few years or a few decades earlier.. This is the reason for our first counter-demonstration against "an-nakbah." Each year we shall continue to build our coalition to counter their pernicious propaganda with more and larger counter-demonstrations. It is important that Islamic da'wa be rejected and that the truth prevail. I chose the name for the Coalition from a little-taught historical fact of great significance. Since its inception, the political movement called "Islam" has had as its goal the conquest of every other civilization and their perversion into followers of Muhammad. In a broad radius from Mecca, it has succeeded. It even occupied northern Africa, and southern Europe - especially the Iberian peninsula - for almost five centuries. Islamic armies once came close to conquering Rome, the Western capital of Christianity, just as it had conquered and converted Constantinople, the Eastern capital of Christianity, and had despoiled Jerusalem, Judaism's holy city. Despite centuries of conquests and reversals, Islam persisted in its desire to subjugate Europe. On Sept. 11th, 1683, King Jan III Sobieski of Poland and his allies arrived at the "Gates of Vienna" to which they had been urgently summoned. The city had been under siege for many months by the Islamic forces, united under the Caliphate. The situation for the Austrians was growing desperate as the Poles prepared for battle. In the early dawning hours of the following day, they defeated the forces of Islam which were poised to capture Vienna and to complete their conquest of Europe and Western civilization. It was the end of Islamic attempts to subdue Western civilization for 325 years. If Jan Sobieski had not triumphed that day, it might well have resulted in the elimination of Christianity, Judaism, and all other religions from the world. Today, our Coalition believes that we have again reached the critical situation of 9.11.1683 and are preparing to thwart the renewed Islamic attempts to conquer the West by stealth, by jihad, and by the substitution of shari'a for our democratic forms of government. In the face of the heavy rains, Chaplain Desiree led the group in enthusiastic prayers, patriotic and joyful songs, and loud slogans and cheers to drown out the nakbah group which had moved into a taunting position across Second Avenue. For America, delivered his usual powerful extemporaneous message which proclaimed that: "The 'Stars and the Stripes' and the 'Star of David' are indivisible. We are Americans and we stand by Israel Today, Tomorrow, and Forever. Until the end of time!" Unlike most of you, I actually remember the day Israel was reborn after almost two millennia. It was a day of rejoicing. But there are others who looked upon this momentous event as an-nakbah - the catastrophe,. These others have told the world that they will surely destroy the Jewish Nation. They've proclaimed without shame that they are commanded by their Allah to "kill all the Jews." Do you remember, when a madman said these things about seven decades ago? At that time the world reacted - - - with apathy. So the Nazis managed to do the unthinkable, while the world watched the smoke rise - in apathy. These days most of us pay lip-service to the slogan "NEVER AGAIN," and then we go about our everyday routines. We ignore our enemy's new promises to exterminate millions of our people. But our enemies are serious! When I created the slogan "NEVER AGAIN" in 1969, I did not intend to state that another Holocaust couldn't or wouldn't take place. I intended to proclaim that NEVER AGAIN would the Jewish Nation remain silent and defenseless in the face of another Holocaust. It wasn't said as a defiant boast, but in the hope that NEVER AGAIN would the civilized world permit such an atrocity to take place. Today it seems that the so-called "civilized world" is once again locked in apathy. So we're here today to sound a warning, to transmit – in the words of Benjamin Netanyahu – "the jarring 'gong' of self-preservation." We're here to rouse the conscience of people of good will, to show the world that times have changed, and to find out whether Never Again has any meaning at all. If we fail to reach the true Christians, the Hindus, the Buddhists, the Jains, the atheists – and even the thinking Muslims – in that palace of corruption across the way called the UN, if our call of conscience falls on deaf ears among the world leaders, Jews will understand that the only salvation for the Jewish Nation lies in the hands of the Israeli Air Force and in Israel's arsenals in Dimona. If reason fails, let us pray that Israel's leaders have both the wisdom and courage to use them. Never Again! Never Again! Never Again! ======================================= [Closing Remarks by the Organizer] THERE ARE NO "PALESTINIANS" The muslims who have tried to occupy Israel's ancient biblical homeland call themselves "palestinians." But what does that mean? Are they a group of dispossessed people driven from their homes? Show me any book older than half a century that calls these Arabs "palestinians." Show me any writer of the past who claims to be a "palestinian" poet or author.  Give me the name of one "palestinian" head of a "palestinian" state. Which city was the capital of this hypothetical "palestinian" nation? Was a ""palestine"" ever recognized by any other legitimate country? What was the language of this supposed country of "palestine"? What was the prevalent religion of these natives of "palestine"? What was the name of its currency? Choose any date in history and tell what was the approximate exchange rate of the "palestinian" monetary unit against gold or silver, or against the US dollar, Swiss Franc, German mark, British pound, Japanese yen, or Chinese yuan on that date. Since there is no such country as "palestine" today, what caused its demise and when did it occur? These questions all seem foolish because the world knows that there NEVER WAS "AN ARAB palestine" – that there is no such thing as "palestinian people." But the muslim Arabs learned well from their Nazi allies. Josef Goebbels taught them that when you "repeat a lie often enough, people will begin to believe it." These squatters in the ancient Jewish "Land of Israel" try to portray themselves as the indigenous inhabitants - like the native Americans, the Aztecs of Mexico, or the Australian Aborigines. This is an outright LIE! And people are starting to believe it! Since the muslim Arab conquest of the once-flourishing Land of Israel destroyed its ecology in the 7th century, the Jewish "promised land" was only a promise - and one that looked more like an "impossible dream." By the turn of the century – I mean 1799 – the land could barely support 250,000 people who were living in deep poverty. The Turkish rulers brought in from Europe large numbers of Balkan muslims to help populate and rejuvenate the land. To no effect. But around 1880, the Jews started to reclaim their ancient heritage, their patrimony. As they revived agriculture and renewed the economy, Arabs were attracted from the surrounding countries to the relative prosperity. These are the Arabs who now claim ownership of the land "since time immemorial." This influx is documented by Turkish and British records, by aerial photographs, and by contemporary newspaper reports. These are historical facts! But one of the most telling PROOFS of the foreign origin of these "ancient palestinians" is their own names. Among Jews, we know, for example, that the Warschauer family comes from Warsaw, and that Rabbi Berditchevsky came from Berditchev. We can easily guess where Susan Berlin may have come from, or Jane London, or Michael Dubliner, or Giovanni Romano, and so on. Among these "ancient inhabitants" of Judea, Samaria, and Gaza, we find a plethora of families named El-Misri (The Egyptian), and Mugrabi (Moroccan or North African), and Chalabi (Syrian), and even Habash (Abyssinian.) The Egyptian-born arch-terrorist who used the name Arafat took that name because of its significance to Mecca - not to any palestinian homeland. And there's some added interesting evidence. Many years ago, when I visited these "ancient Arab villages" which had been "built by their forefathers," at the front doors I found strange oblong diagonal gouges in the stone doorposts, beneath the lintels, often with small holes at their upper and lower ends. What Arab or muslim custom could have produced these similar defects in the stone? There's only one answer: when the original Jewish builder inserted his mezuzah in the doorpost, as commanded by the bible, he left this "defect" in the stone which the Arab usurper could not remove unless he replaced the entire door frame. Who is the original land owner and who is the occupier? Given that the so-called "palestinians" never existed, what united them in a "national struggle?" Only one thing could bring together such a varied and disparate group of outsiders: their hatred of the Jews. The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem, Muhammad Amin Al-Husseini, who hid out in Germany during WWII and recruited European muslims for Hitler's Waffen SS units, was a driving force in uniting the Arabs against the Jews. The British - ever sympathetic with anyone who hated Jews - did nothing to calm the anti-Jewish riots that the Mufti generated. We see that the glue that holds together the so-called "palestinian nation" is simply hatred of Jews; it's their national goal of destroying Israel. During almost two decades, while Jordan ruled Judea and Samaria, and Egypt administered Gaza, no one heard of any movement for "palestinian nationality." How come? Because there was no need for a palestinian identity. But when Israel miraculously beat off yet another barrage of Arab attacks in 1967 and gained control of its historic territory once again, suddenly we saw the opportune appearance of a "palestinian people!" Allah Be Praised! Miracles never cease! So we understand why the so-called "an-nakbah" is so important to the muslim occupiers of the Jewish National Homeland. We understand why their public relations people had to fabricate events-that-never-happened, like the Irgun's supposed mass murder of Arabs at Deir Yassin, and more recently, the IDF's manufactured "massacre" at Jenin. We understand why they have to circulate falsehoods like the Blood Libel and The Protocols. We know why their Imams and their kiddie TV programs must create hatred toward Jews. Once you know history, you discern the fable and creativity in an-nakba. If these muslims didn't have Jews to loathe, and to attack, and to kill, they would turn their innate violence on each other and the "palestinian unity" would dissolve into the vapor out of which it was manufactured. There are no "palestinians" - only muslim Arabs from all over the muslim world. Since there are no "palestinians," how can there have been a "nakbah?" Since there are no separate "palestinians," why does the world need yet another Arab terrorist state? The only permanent solution is for the Egyptian "palestinians" in Israel to return to Egypt; for the Moroccan "palestinians" in Israel to return to North Africa, for Habash's remaining terrorists to flee to Abyssinia, for the Jordanians, the Saudis, the Syrians, the Europeans, and all the others to go back to their brethren, and for the Jewish Nation to remain the single, strong and independent democratic state, united in the land of the Patriarchs, in peace in the land of the forefathers of Judaism and Christianity. -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Attached: Photos Copyright 2008.
